Welcome to The Client Manual
Hi There ...
I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of different companies over the past 20 years. But, even with all this experience, you never really master 'The Client'. Why? It's easy ... each personality is uniquely different. Their business goals are similar. And they have similar expectations. But it ends there. That's why I decided to start The Client Manual. You can go to school and learn lots of things about marketing. But, like leaving the hospital with your first child, no one gives you a manual that tells you what to do.
So, for those of you in advertising and marketing that deal with clients in any industry, whether in consumer or B2B, this blog is for you. The Client Manual will contain absolutely wondrous tidbits and tips about clients, their needs and wants, their goals and expectations. This manual will be based on real life circumstances, though the client and account names will be changed to protect the innocent (that would be me).
This blog was created for all of us marketing folk to share our stories and seek insight. I even welcome clients to blog-in and provide their side of the story.
My goal is to help you develop stronger, mutually profitable, long-term relationships with your clients. It's that simple.
Note to clients: If there are any stories or experiences that sound familiar to you in any way, that would simply be coincidental. :)
Talk soon!
